The Brannan 10/621/0 brinometer is a special purpose hydrometer that reads the percentage saturated solution of brine in water from 0 to 100%, helping producers control salt concentration when making cheese and other foodstuffs. It is 230 mm long with a 19 mm bulb, adjusted at 15.6 °C (60 °F) and accurate to ±1.0.
