Covering 0.90 to 0.95 SG, the Brannan 10/922/0 belongs to the M50 series of general purpose specific gravity hydrometers. It compares the relative density of a liquid with that of water, so this 0.90–0.95 model is intended for liquids lighter than water. The 10/922/0 is 270 mm long, divided in 0.001 SG steps over a 0.050 SG span, and adjusted at 60 °F (15.6 °C). Like the other M50 instruments, the 10/922/0 is similar to hydrometers in ISO 650 and in the now superseded 1960 issue of BS 718.
