For specific gravity readings in the 1.40 to 1.45 band, Brannan supplies the 10/932/0, a general purpose hydrometer in its M50 series. With a band of 1.40 to 1.45, it is used for liquids denser than water, giving relative density against water. At 270 mm overall, the 10/932/0 carries 0.001 SG graduations across its 1.40–1.45 span and is adjusted at 60 °F (15.6 °C). Like the other M50 instruments, the 10/932/0 is similar to hydrometers in ISO 650 and in the now superseded 1960 issue of BS 718.
