The Brannan 10/944/0 is a general purpose specific gravity hydrometer from the M100 series, graduated from 1.00 to 1.10 SG. Because its scale sits at 1.00–1.10, the 10/944/0 is aimed at liquids at or just above the density of water, comparing their relative density with water. At 250 mm overall, the 10/944/0 carries 0.002 SG graduations across its 1.00–1.10 span and is adjusted at 60 °F (15.6 °C). The 10/944/0 follows the pattern of hydrometers in ISO 650 and the superseded 1960 edition of BS 718.
