For specific gravity readings in the 0.75 to 0.80 band, Brannan supplies the 10/963/0, a general purpose hydrometer in its M50 series. It compares the relative density of a liquid with that of water, so this 0.75–0.80 model is intended for liquids lighter than water. Adjusted at 60 °F (15.6 °C), the M50 model 10/963/0 measures 270 mm overall and spans 0.050 SG with 0.001 SG divisions. The 10/963/0 design is comparable to the hydrometers in ISO 650 and the withdrawn 1960 issue of British Standard 718.
