Brannan 15/358/2 is a glass stem thermometer in a sturdy brass case, developed to check the temperature of soil and concrete in agricultural and industrial work. The Celsius scale reads -35 to +50 °C in 1 °C divisions. A spike on the end of the 495 mm case helps insertion, and a large red marker knob at the top makes it easy to handle and locate. Replacement refill thermometers are available under 15/458/2.
