Brannan part 38/690/0 is a K-type thermocouple probe for measuring the temperature of solids and liquids across -50 to 800 °C, with ±1.5 °C accuracy. Its 200 mm stainless steel probe extends what compatible Brannan meters such as the 38/706/0 can read, and gives better access where space is tight or a reading must be taken at a safer distance. For prolonged use at high temperature and any work above 500 °C, the handle should be shielded from radiant heat.
