Brannan 44/801/5 is a 305 mm LO-tox laboratory thermometer with a Fahrenheit-only scale reading -30 to +120 °F in 1.0 °F divisions, blue filling, for 76 mm partial immersion and accurate to ±2 °F at 95 °F. LO-tox is a filling developed to give a wide temperature span with the lowest practical level of hazard, and its quality and legibility make these thermometers a practical substitute for mercury types.
