Brannan 44/804/5 is a 405 mm LO-tox laboratory thermometer with a dual Celsius and Fahrenheit scale reading -10 to +260 °C/ °F in 1.0 °C/ °F divisions, blue filling, for 76 mm partial immersion and accurate to ±2.0 °C at 90 °C. LO-tox is a filling developed to give a wide temperature span with the lowest practical level of hazard, and its quality and legibility make these thermometers a practical substitute for mercury types.
