Brannan 44/811/8 is a 305 mm LO-tox laboratory thermometer with a Celsius-only scale reading -20 to +150 °C in 1.0 °C divisions, blue filling, for total immersion and accurate to ±1.5 °C at 90 °C. LO-tox is a filling developed to give a wide temperature span with the lowest practical level of hazard, and its quality and legibility make these thermometers a practical substitute for mercury types.
