Brannan 55/042/2 is a spirit filled laboratory thermometer to the Similar ASTM 42C Solvents Distillation pattern, reading +95 to +255 °C in 0.5 °C divisions, for 100 mm partial immersion, with a maximum length of 400 mm; this pattern is gallium filled. It is made to be similar to the ASTM E1-14 liquid-in-glass thermometer pattern. Stated accuracy is ±1 °C. The LAB060 range was developed as a spirit filled alternative to the standard mercury filled ASTM thermometers used in laboratory test methods.
