Xgard Type 4 is the high-temperature flammable gas detector in the Crowcon Xgard line, with catalytic beads in a 316 stainless steel sensor housing rated from -20 to +150 °C. Its larger 195 x 166 x 111 mm aluminium junction box weighs 1.5 kg and outputs a 3-wire mV bridge signal above 10 mV per %LEL methane. It is certified II 2 GD Exd IIC T3 Gb up to +150 °C ambient.
