The Crowcon XgardIQ is a SIL2 certified fixed detector and transmitter in a 316 stainless steel housing, accepting plug-in modules for flammable, toxic, oxygen or high-temperature H2S detection. It auto-detects the fitted sensor and uploads gas type, range and alarm levels, and auto-senses whether the control loop is 4-20 mA sink or source. Calibration is non-intrusive, so no hot-work permit is needed.
