This 2.25 MHz, 1/4 in dual element transducer (T-002-1000) is fitted with a potted connection on the top. It uses standard damping. Dakota rates it to a maximum of 126°C (260°F).

Dakota lists cast iron, plastics such as polypropylene and polyethylene, and thin fibreglass as suitable materials for 2.25 MHz dual element probes. One crystal sends and a second receives, which suits corrosion checks where only one side is reachable.
