The Dakota ZX6-DL (ZX-6DL), part number Z-306-0003, is the top model of the ZX basic thickness gauge line. It pairs a standard pulse-echo mode for flaw and pit detection with a multi-echo through paint mode, so material under epoxy-based coatings can be measured without removing the coating.
Gain is adjustable, and automatic time dependent gain works in both measurement modes. Typical uses include tanks, boilers, tube and pipe.
