Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko FNS3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 FNS probe, a cabled combination probe for coatings on ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates. With the FNS fitted, the gauge reads 0–1500 µm (0–60 mils). For coatings on steel, aluminium and copper, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
