Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko FT3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 FT probe, an integral high-range probe for thick protective coatings on steel. With the FT fitted, the gauge reads 0–6 mm (0–250 mils). For thick protective coatings on steel, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
