Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko NAS3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 NAS probe, a cabled probe for thin non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous metals, well suited to anodised aluminium. With the NAS fitted, the gauge reads 0–625 µm (0–25 mils). For anodised aluminium and thin films, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
