The DeFelsko PRBNAS is the PosiTector 6000 NAS probe, sold as the probe only, so a PosiTector gage body is required. It is a regular cabled probe with a thin-film range, noted by DeFelsko as ideal for anodised aluminium, measuring coatings on aluminium, copper, titanium and other non-ferrous metals over a 0–625 µm (0–25 mils) range. Coating inspectors and QC staff fit it to an existing Standard or Advanced body, since every PosiTector body accepts every probe.
