The DeFelsko RTXC-A supplies Testex Press-O-Film X-Coarse replica tape in the legacy roll format for blast profiles of 40–115 µm (1.5–4.5 mils). After burnishing onto the surface, the replica is measured between micrometer anvils, with the 50 µm backing subtracted. It is used by coating inspectors to quantify abrasive blast profile before painting.
