The DeFelsko STDCSS is the complete set of eight certified plastic shims, CS1 through CS60, covering approximately 25 µm (1 mil) to 1500 µm (60 mils). The colour-coded shims provide an economical alternative to coated metal plates for verifying electronic magnetic, eddy-current and ultrasonic coating thickness gauges across their range.

- 8 shims: 25, 50, 75, 125, 250, 500, 1000 and 1500 µm (approx.)
- Accuracy: ±2 µm (±0.08 mil)
- Each shim 3 x 8 cm (1 x 3 in) in its own protective sleeve

- Not suitable for magnetic pull-off gauges
