The DeFelsko UTGM3 is the PosiTector UTG M ultrasonic wall thickness gauge on the Advanced gage body, using a 5 MHz contact transducer (wear-resistant alumina probe tip). It is aimed at measuring metal thickness through paint without removing the coating, letting inspectors measure wall thickness from one side of a part or structure. The Advanced body adds A-Scan and B-Scan displays.
