The DeFelsko VISWC NACE Visual Weld Comparator is a durable ABS plastic weld replica developed by AMPP (formerly NACE) for use with NACE SP0178. It helps determine the degree of surface finishing of welds specified before lining tanks and vessels. The SP0178 standard itself is not included.
- Moulded from actual welds; 14 welds including full-seam, skip, butt and lap welds
- Corners replicate 1/8" and 1/4" radius for edge grinding comparison
- Conforms to NACE SP0178 – Appendix C
