Product Overview
The Dwyer CDTR-2N4D4 combines carbon dioxide, relative humidity, and temperature measurement in a single compact wall-mounted transmitter. By combining three measurements in one device, it can reduce the number of individual sensors required in building and HVAC applications.
The transmitter measures CO₂ from 0 to 2000 PPM and relative humidity from 0 to 100% RH, with a Pt100 Ω RTD temperature output. Its North American housing is designed for wall-mounted indoor applications.
A single-beam, dual-wavelength NDIR sensor measures carbon dioxide and automatically corrects the CO₂ measurement for light-source aging. The transmitter also provides digital barometric pressure adjustment and field calibration capabilities for commissioning and maintenance.
Dwyer's Digital Intelligence Temperature Compensation Algorithm (DITCA™) is designed to eliminate measurement error associated with self-heating in wall-mounted combination devices.
Universal outputs for CO₂ and relative humidity can be selected as 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, or 0-10 VDC, allowing the transmitter to interface with a wide range of building management controllers. The current output supports a maximum load of 500 Ω, while the voltage outputs require a minimum load of 500 Ω.
The humidity and temperature sensors are replaceable, while a physical hardware lockout helps protect the transmitter's settings. Because the CDTR-2N4D4 has no integral LCD, a service display tool is available for setup and calibration.
The transmitter operates from 16-35 VDC or 19-28 VAC, with average power consumption of 2 W and peak consumption of 3.75 W. It operates from 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C) and is designed for environments with 10-95% RH, non-condensing.
