Product Overview
The Dwyer CDTR-2N4D4-LCD combines carbon dioxide, relative humidity, and temperature measurement in a single wall-mounted device, helping reduce the number of individual sensors required in indoor building applications.
It measures CO₂ from 0 to 2000 PPM and relative humidity from 0 to 100% RH, while providing a Pt100 Ω RTD temperature output. The transmitter is designed for wall mounting and uses a North American housing configuration.
A single-beam, dual-wavelength NDIR sensor measures carbon dioxide and automatically compensates for light-source aging. Digital barometric pressure adjustment and field calibration capabilities help maintain accurate CO₂ measurement during commissioning and service.
The transmitter also incorporates Dwyer's Digital Intelligence Temperature Compensation Algorithm (DITCA™), which is designed to eliminate measurement error associated with self-heating in wall-mounted combination devices.
Universal outputs for CO₂ and relative humidity can be selected as 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, or 0-10 VDC, allowing the transmitter to interface with a wide range of building management and control systems. The current output supports a maximum load of 500 Ω, while the voltage outputs require a minimum load of 500 Ω.
For local viewing, the integral LCD can be configured to display temperature, relative humidity, CO₂, CO₂ and humidity, or CO₂ and temperature. Humidity and temperature sensors are replaceable, while a physical hardware lockout helps protect configuration settings.
The transmitter operates from 16-35 VDC or 19-28 VAC, with average power consumption of 2 W and peak consumption of 3.75 W. It is rated for 10-95% RH, non-condensing, and operates across 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C).
Need a different configuration? The CDTR-2N4D4 is the same transmitter without the integral LCD display.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Dwyer CDTR-2N4D4-LCD measure?
It measures CO₂ from 0 to 2000 PPM and relative humidity from 0 to 100% RH, with a Pt100 Ω RTD temperature output.
What outputs are available?
The transmitter provides universal 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, or 0-10 VDC outputs for CO₂ and relative humidity.
How accurate is the CDTR-2N4D4-LCD?
CO₂ accuracy is ±40 ppm + 3% of reading, while relative humidity accuracy is ±2%.
Does the CDTR-2N4D4-LCD have a display?
Yes. It has an integral configurable LCD that can display temperature, RH, CO₂, CO₂ and humidity, or CO₂ and temperature.
What type of CO₂ sensor does it use?
It uses a single-beam, dual-wavelength NDIR sensor with automatic correction for CO₂ measurement changes caused by light-source aging.
Does it support field calibration?
Yes. The transmitter provides field calibration and digital barometric pressure adjustment.
What is DITCA™?
DITCA™, or Digital Intelligence Temperature Compensation Algorithm, is designed to eliminate measurement error caused by self-heating in wall-mounted combination devices.
How often should the transmitter be verified?
For buildings occupied 24 hours a day, Dwyer recommends verifying calibration every 6 to 12 months, depending on the application.
Is there an alternative without the LCD?
Yes. The Dwyer CDTR-2N4D4 is the same transmitter configuration without the integral LCD display.
