An explosion-proof grounding system specifically engineered for hazardous environments is the Dwyer TR-7-ABX Safe-T-Ground. It has a temperature range of -25 to 40°C (-13 to 104°F) and requires 105–125 VAC at 60 Hz of power. The enclosure has a DPDT electrical rating of 10 amps, 125 VAC, 60 Hz, and is composed of a copper-free cast aluminum alloy. The measurements are 6-5/8" W x 10-3/8" H x 5-5/8" D. The installation requires 3/4" NPT conduit connection and 7/16" mounting lugs. The grounding system consists of a coiled wire that can be extended to 16 feet and retracted to 3 feet, as well as a molded polypropylene contactor with beryllium copper contact clips.
