An explosion-proof enclosure specifically intended for hazardous locations is the Dwyer TR-7-ABXL Safe-T-Ground. It requires 105–125 VAC 60 Hz of electricity and can operate in temperatures between -13 and 104°F. The electrical rating is DPDT, 10 amps, 125 VAC, 60 Hz, and the enclosure is constructed of 356-T6 cast aluminum alloy. It is 6-5/8" W x 10-3/8" H x 5-5/8" D in size, with a 3/4" NPT conduit connector. Wiring is completed using a terminal strip, and installation is completed with 7/16" mounting lugs. Two grounding studs are included in the kit, but more pairs can be ordered. The contactor is a polyethylene grounding clamp with contact clips made of beryllium copper that is manufactured. A 16-2 type SO coiled cable, which retracts to 3' and extends to 16', is also included in the package.
