Emerson RSTi-EP Function Modules
There are Emerson RSTi-EP function modules available to suit particular system requirements:
Positive logic is used by digital pulse width modulation (PWM) modules to operate small motors and valve flaps. The push/pull output levels can be used for motor activation and direction change, and the switching frequencies can be adjusted up to 40kHz. Available in 0.5 (EP-5422) or 2A (EP-5442) current requirement options. a quick counter 32-bit counters with a maximum input frequency of 100kHz are available in 1- or 2-channel configurations (Pulse & Direction or A/B mode with 1-, 2-, or 4-times sampling). The input filter time can be set to 0.01 to 1 ms. Additionally, they have a time-stamped alarm and diagnostic function.
