The 40" Slide-Track Latheguard, Flexbar 13083, belongs to the larger group (13081 to 13084) for standard machines and big CNC lathes with chucks up to 48" diameter. These models use a single LEXAN front panel window and need no top window.

Installation is simple: four supplied pillar posts are screwed in around the headstock, the track assembly chassis slips on, then the shield is mounted. The posts adjust vertically against the cross-members, and all hardware and instructions are included. The guard covers the chuck only; for point of operation guarding Flexbar offers the Travelguard (13086, 13087).
