The Martindale MAREZ664 can test via a standard 13A plug or through flying leads, so it also works at light fittings, fused spurs and terminals. Three tricolour LEDs show wiring condition, and a second group indicates earth loop impedance in six ranges, measured without tripping a 30mA or higher RCD. No loop reading is taken if mains is below 195V, above 270V or N-E voltage exceeds 30V.
