The TEK101 (MARTEK101) is optimised for energised conductors between 180V and 600V AC rms. Its extended probe tip reaches into confined spaces, and the tip design with tuned sensitivity makes it possible to discriminate between adjacent live conductors. A built-in 50Hz proving unit tests the sensor, battery and LED. Typical sensing distance at 230V is 3mm on twin and earth and 2mm on round cable.
