Matherne Type F, Type D and Model 8 Mud Gauges | Up to 20,000 psi
Matherne offers three standpipe mud gauge designs for mud pump, standpipe and manifold pressure. The Type F is the most compact, with a 4-7/8 in case, and covers 0-20,000 psi. The Type D uses a 7-5/8 in case for ranges up to 6,000 psi, while the Model 8 has an 8-1/8 in case with a 6 in dial in 6,000 or 10,000 psi versions. All three are rated for -50 to +65 °C (-50 to +150 °F).
Key features
- Type F: 2 in NPT male and 1 in NPT female connection, for mud, water and oil
- Type D: 2 in NPT female connection, ranges of 1,000, 3,000, 5,000 or 6,000 psi
- Model 8: 2 in line pipe male with 1 in line pipe female connection
- Model 8: impact-resistant acrylic lens and dual-unit dials (psi/kg/cm², kPa/psi, bar/psi)
