The 422-270-30 is a Digimatic blade micrometer for 0–25 mm; its blade-shaped anvil and spindle (Type C, carbide t=0.75 mm) reach groove diameters of shafts, keyways and other hard-to-reach features. For the 422-270-30, digital step is 0.001 mm, with a maximum permissible error of ±3 µm and variation in length of 3 µm; the LCD has 7.5 mm characters.
