Mitutoyo 340-525 is a digital outside micrometer for 800 to 900 mm that uses four interchangeable anvils to cover its wide range. At this size the maximum permissible error is ±16 µm and the variation in length is 11 µm; a ratchet stop keeps the measuring force constant.
