The Mitutoyo HM-200 Series (Series 810) covers Micro Vickers hardness testing machines whose electromagnetic force motor lets the test force be set freely from 0.05 gf to 2 kgf, with adjustable loading and dwell times. Long-working-distance MH Plan objectives cut the risk of the specimen touching the lens while focusing.
- Test force freely selectable from 0.05 gf to 2 kgf; one custom force can be stored (default HV0.025, 25 gf)
- Up to two indenters and up to four objectives in the turret; a 50X objective comes as standard
- Working distance with a 50X objective of 2.5 mm, against 1.1 mm on earlier models
- Calculates Vickers and Knoop hardness plus ceramic fracture toughness by the IF method
- Serial (RS-232), Digimatic and USB 2.0 data output; LED illumination
