The ST36 is an open, exposed-installation linear scale with a center point scale of 100 to 3000 mm every 50 mm, and it gives high resolution and stable signal output. Versions A and C output two 90 degree phase-shifted sinusoidal signals (2 Vpp); versions B and C output square-wave signals through an RS422 line driver.
