The OPTEX FA CD33-L85N-422 is a specular-reflective, cable-type model in the CD33 small laser displacement sensor range, with a Class 1 laser and one NPN control output. With the CD33-L85N-422, transparent objects such as glass and specular objects such as wafers become measurable, which OPTEX FA notes is difficult with diffuse-reflective types. When used on a transparent part, the CD33-L85N-422 measures thickness too, since light from both surfaces reaches the receiver.
