Palmer Wahl's 305_Probe is a miniature platinum RTD probe for air and gas temperatures. Its low-mass sensor is shielded by a thin perforated steel tube only 0.120 in in diameter for fast response, and it is often used in HVAC work and for ovens, stacks and ducts. The working range is -40 to 450 °F.
