Palmer Wahl 950 series dial thermometers combine a 5 in direct-drive filled system with a 1/2 in NPT adjustable union in 304 stainless steel and a 3/8 in diameter stem, making them a filled-system alternative to bimetal thermometers. The polished 316 stainless all-angle case holds a double-wound bourdon coil that drives the pointer directly. Liquid fill covers ranges to 500°F; mercury is used above.
