Palmer Wahl needle valves give precise regulation of flow, either shutting off a pressure gauge or holding a steady flow rate. Brass valves with a hard seat are rated to 3,000 psi at 100 °F, while carbon steel valves with a chromate finish and soft seat are rated to 6,000 psi at 200 °F. Both have female-female 1/4 in NPT connections and a screwed bonnet.
