Permanent Magnet Yokes
Due to their total portability and lack of electrical requirements, permanent magnet yokes are a tremendous convenience in magnetic particle inspection. All WM-Series Yokes use Rare Earth Magnet Cartridges that were created especially to meet our high performance requirements. The minimum lift of 50 pounds (23 kg) is guaranteed for years with WM-Series Yokes since they lift above 60 pounds without the need for recharging. The WM-5LT has a hinged frame and rotating contact feet, making it simple for the inspector to increase the area of contact between the work item and the Dual Contact Surfaces on the pole parts. In the unlikely case of a failure, the magnet cartridges in these machines can be changed in the field. An variation to the normal WM-5 that is less in weight is the WM-5LT.
