The SAUTER HB0 100-0. (model HB0 100-0) is a compact handheld analogue durometer for Shore A0 hardness, with a measuring range of 100 HA0 and a readability of 1 HA0. It is used for penetration measurement on soft materials such as foam and sponge, and is recommended mainly for internal comparison measurements.
A drag pointer records the peak value in max mode. Standard calibrations, for example to DIN 48-4, are not possible because of the very narrow standard tolerances.
