The WC-Series Platform from Western Instruments is used in all WC-Series models, including our WC-6. Although considerably more compact, this platform's design is similar to our standard W-Series Platform, and its urethane rubber housing offers superior durability in harsh environments. Our cutting-edge Mechanical, Electrical, and Solid State Electronics designs enable this construction versatility. These designs allow us to continue our commitment to operator safety by allowing the WC-Series to use our standard low profile sealed membrane activation switch, which has a grounding provision and conducts less than 1/2 watt of power. Due to a greater field of view and greater height between the operator's hand and the work piece, all W-Series Yokes enable faster inspections.
