Applications like overpressure, vacuum, and differential pressure are intended for the Series BDPA Adjustable Differential Pressure Alarm, which has an integrated visual and auditory set point indicator. Without the need for a pressure gauge, adjustments to the switching pressure can be done thanks to the scaled adjustment knob. The BDPA has settings ranging from 20" w.c. (5000 Pa) to 0.08" w.c. (20 Pa). The PA 6.6 body and silicone diaphragm of the Series BDPA make it ideal for use with noncombustible gases such as air. The numerous advantages of the Series BDPA Adjustable Differential Pressure Alarms can be utilized thanks to their flexible variety of settings. Batteries or 24 VDC/VAC line power are two options for powering the BDPA. In the event of a power outage, the battery can function as backup power if line power is connected. A local, loud, audible buzzer and bright LED will regularly signal that the set point has been activated when the threshold is achieved. It is also possible to wire an SPDT contact so that it can communicate remotely with a building management system or DDC. Pressing the snooze button, accessible through a cover aperture, allows the user to manually deactivate the visual and auditory alerts until a maintenance procedure is carried out. A remote contact may be linked to the instrument if it is installed in an inaccessible area. This would enable the user to turn off the buzzer and LED at the remote contact's location. Because of its excellent functional adaptability, the Series BDPA Differential Pressure Alarm is ideal for retrofit projects where installing electrical wiring would be prohibitively expensive, as well as filter, fan, and ventilation applications.
