Its 270 mm body carries 0.001 g/ml graduations across the 0.80–0.85 g/ml band, with the scale adjusted at 20 °C for liquids lighter than water. This 0.80–0.85 g/ml hydrometer is manufactured in the UK and supplied in a resealable protective tube.
