Brannan 10/467/0 is a BS 718 L50 SP sub-series density hydrometer covering 0.95 to 1.00 g/ml at 15 °C, for liquids of low surface tension. Each 335 mm hydrometer in this sub-series spans 0.050 g/ml with 0.0005 g/ml divisions and 0.0003 g/ml accuracy, giving higher accuracy than the standard L50 series. BS 718 is generally aligned with ISO 649, and the sub-series is commonly used in the petroleum industry and corresponds to IP 160.
