Brannan 10/859/0 is an alcohol hydrometer covering 960 to 980 kg/m³, read in 0.2 kg/m³ divisions with ±0.2 kg/m³ accuracy and adjusted at 20 °C. It measures the density of ethanol/water mixtures, is made to BS 5470 from soda glass with steel shot ballast, and has a 300 mm maximum length with a 38 mm bulb.
