The Brannan ASR040 is a ring (coil) type syphon for vertical installation below a pressure instrument. It reduces the process temperature reaching the instrument and protects it from pressure spikes and pulsations on liquids, gases and vapours, and it can be combined with a shut-off valve. Ratings run from 100 bar at 100 °C down to 63 bar at 400 °C, with 1/2 in connections and SCH 40 or SCH 80 pipe in stainless steel 316, 316L or carbon steel.
