Dakota V-000-0001 is standard ultrasonic couplant supplied in a 120 ml (4 fl oz) bottle. It is a viscous gel made to stay put on both horizontal and vertical surfaces, and is rated for -15 to 104 °C (5 to 220 °F). Couplant fills the gap between transducer and surface so the ultrasonic signal passes reliably.
