Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko FNTS3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 FNTS probe, a cabled combination probe for thick protective coatings on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. With the FNTS fitted, the gauge reads 0–6 mm (0–250 mils). For thick coatings on ferrous and non-ferrous metal, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
